The 2005 movie Pride & Prejudice has returned to Netflix, and we have brought our popcorn, tissues, and Penguin Classics editions—from the Drop Cap to the Deluxe, because we can’t choose just one—with us to the couch. Don’t mind the tears.

Happy 100th birthday to everyone’s favorite required reading in high school: The Great Gatsby! You can find it in a beautiful Deluxe paperback with an introduction by Min Jin Lee or in a collectible hardcover here, or in an all-new edition with four of Fitzgerald’s short stories from All the Sad Young Men here.

Happy National Poetry Month! Penguin Classics is the perfect place to find your next poetry read. Get swept away by the medieval Persian classic Khosrow and Shirin, a tragic, epic love story that predates Romeo and Juliet. Or if you have a penchant for pensiveness, delve into poetry’s long-standing connection to memory, mourning, and consolation with The Penguin Book of Elegy.

We could all enjoy more time reading outdoors. Catch some sun and celebrate yourself by reading Leaves of Grass and Selected Poems and Prose by Walt Whitman. Or find a shady spot under a tree and enjoy Walden and Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau.
